My kid sister turned seven last week. I got her a dress - pink, flowers, perfect - and dropped it in the mail. My mom tells me she wore it for the next two days.

Today was a day.
Every now and then, as I’m lying in bed waiting for sleep to take over and close the door on another long day, I’ll think about all that fit into just another Thursday. Today was, in a word, a day.
Early morning coffee with festival board member. Talked past, present, future. Great americano to sip on while we did so. Grateful for good convo, good coffee.
Morning of a bit of work....
